English Reading Skills
Question pattern: The whole paper will be in three parts. In part A, you have to answer 10 questions out of 12, following a passage. Each question bears 1 mark. Here, to perform well you have to have the knowledge of Parts of speech and define words in English.
In part B, you have to make a solution of 5 questions out of 8 following a passage. Each question contains 4 marks. Here, to perform well you have to have the knowledge to identify the speaker’s attitude, position, and tone, to summarize the passage, and to the central idea of the passage.
In part C, 8 questions will be given following a poem. Either the poem will be from or out of Your syllabus. You have to answer 5 questions. Each question bears 10 marks.
[ No suggestion is appropriate for parts A&B. You may practice some passages from any of your helping books. Here, we are going to suggest some probable poems as well as questions to practice for your betterment in the Exam.]
