Lest / In Case এর ব্যবহার

Lest/In case (পাছে ভয় হয় যে/ যাতে.. না/ নতুবা) lest এর পরের clause এ subject  এর পরে should/ might  বসবে কখনো not বসবে না ।  

Structure: Any Tense→ Lest→ subject + should/might + V1 + object.

1. Mintu Babu is walking carefully lest he should fall down. (মিন্টু বাবু খুব  সতর্কতার সাথে হাটছে যাতে যে সে পড়ে না যায়।) 
2. Walk fast lest you should miss the train. (দ্রুত হাঁট নতুবা তুমি ট্রেনটি মিস করবে)
3. Dihan wrote down her address in case he should forget it. (দিহান তার ঠিকানা লিখে রেখেছে নতুবা সে এটি ভুলে যাবে)
4. They kept watching all night lest robbers should come. (তারা সারারাত দেখছিল নতুবা ডাকাত আসত)
