The Stolen Child Bangla Summary (বাংলায়)
আইরিশ লোককাহিনীতে আছে যে, একসময় পরীরা মানুষের শিশুদের চুরি করে নিয়ে যেত। পরীদের আলাদা দেশ বা রাজ্য আছে, সেখানে তারা শিশুদের চুরি করে নিয়ে যেত। তো আইরিস এই লোককাহিনীর উপর ভিত্তি করেই ইয়েট দ্যা স্টোলেন চাইল্ড গীতিকবিতাটি লিখেছেন। কবিতার কথক ছিলেন একজন পরী।

পরী এই কবিতায় তাদের দেশের সুন্দর ও আকর্ষণীয় বর্ণনা দেয়। সে তার বর্ণনার মাধ্যমে মানব শিশুদের তাদের দেশে আসার আমন্ত্রন জানায়, এবং এটাও বলে যে, একমাত্র তাদের দেশেই শিশুরা আনন্দ ও দূঃচিন্তাহীন জীবন লাভ করতে পারবে।
Irish folklore has it that fairies once stole human children. Fairies have separate countries or kingdoms, where they steal children away. So Iris wrote the ballad Yet the Stolen Child based on this folk tale. The narrator of the poem was a fairy. In this poem, Pari gives a beautiful and attractive description of their country. She invites the human children to come to her country through her narration, and also says that only in her country can the children have a happy and carefree life.
