Let alone এর ব্যবহার

Let alone (ভাবাই যায় না/  দূরের কথা)  Let alone  এর পরের অংশ সর্বদা আগের অংশের চেয়ে বেশি হবে। 

Example:

1. Shima Rahaman cannot walk a mile, let alone the five miles. (সায়মা রহমান এক মাইল হাঁটা  দূরের কথা আবার পাঁচ মাইল।)
2. He cannot carry 1 kg, let alone 10 kg. (সে ১ কেজিই বহন করতে পারে না, আবার ১০ কেজি!)

Provided / provided that / providing that / whether / in case (যদি অর্থে)

Structure: …… provided/provided that/providing that→ (meaningful sentence).

Examples: 

1. He will shine in life provided that he works hard. (সে জীবনে উজ্জ্বল হবে যদি সে কঠোর পরিশ্রম করে।)
2. The plane will take off provided the weather is good. (আবহাওয়া ভালো থাকলে প্লেন টেক অফ করবে।)
