Assertive to Imperative ✪✪✪
Rule 1: You দিয়ে আরম্ভ হওয়া বাক্যটি affirmative হলে, মূল verb থেকে বাকি অংশ হয়।
Assertive: You do the work.
Imperative: Do the work.
Rule 2: You দিয়ে আরম্ভ হওয়া বাক্যটি negative হলে, do not + মূল verb থেকে বাকি অংশ হয়।

Assertive: You should not hate the poor.
Negative: Do not hate the poor.
Rule 3: You দিয়ে আরম্ভ হওয়া বাক্য-এ never থাকলে, never থেকে বাকি অংশ হয়।
Assertive: You can never tell a lie.
Imperative: Never tell a lie.
Rule 4: বাক্য যদি you ছাড়া1’st বা 3’rd person দিয়ে শুরু হয় এবং বাক্যে যদি not আজাতীয় কোনো শব্দ না থাকে তবে imperative sentence করতে শুরুতে Let + subject এর objective রূপ + মূল verb +বাকি অংশ। যেমন- He should take it = Let him take it. আর যদি এজাতীয় বাক্যএ Not শব্দ থাকে তবে imperative sentence করতে শুরুতে Let not +subject এর objective রূপ বসিয়ে তার পর মূল verb বাকি অংশ বসালেই হয়ে যাবে। যেমন- He should not take it = Let not him take it.

Rule 5: Assertive sentence টি we shall দিয়ে শুরু হলে তার পরিবর্তে Let us + বাকি অংশ।
Assertive: We shall go for a walk.
Imperative: Let us go for a walk.
