I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my concern regarding the declining standard of English proficiency among students. As a concerned member of the community, it is imperative to address this issue to ensure a brighter future for our youth.
Concerns about the Falling Standard of English Among Students
English is a global language and a crucial tool for communication, education, and employment opportunities. However, the standard of English among students is declining alarmingly. This observation is based on various instances, such as poorly written assignments, inadequate communication skills, and a lack of confidence when expressing themselves in English.

The students alone are not responsible for this. The teachers of English are equally responsible. Several factors contribute to this problem, including limited access to quality English education, lack of qualified English teachers, and the failure to understand the communicative purposes of English.
Initiatives such as teacher training programs, incorporating interactive and practical English lessons, and promoting English language clubs can significantly contribute to enhancing English proficiency among students. Furthermore, I encourage parents and guardians to support their children by fostering an environment promoting English language learning at home and within the community.
