Dear Sir,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my views on the crucial matter of developing a love for reading books among the youth of our country. I will be highly grateful if you kindly publish the following few lines in your esteemed daily.
Developing a Reading Culture for the Youths
Worryingly, in an era dominated by digital distractions and rapid technological advancements, the habit of reading books seems to be losing its significance among the younger generation. Books play a very important role in leading the youths to the right way. By reading books, youths can acquire knowledge and wisdom. In a world that is becoming increasingly interconnected, the ability to appreciate different cultures and viewpoints is essential for building a harmonious society. Books provide a window into worlds and lives different from our own.

Books can be a source of entertainment and at the same time educative. For instance, youths can learn to hate racism by reading a good novel. A book has the power to change the way we think, talk, and analyze things. Books remove boredom and frustration and help in building confidence.
Nowadays, our youths are spending too much time on different social media platforms, only scrolling and doing nothing. In the long run, they become self-centered and isolated from society. Many youths are seeking pleasure in drugs and pornography. The habit of reading can save them from these evils.

As a society, we must take collective responsibility for promoting a reading culture. This involves not only providing access to a diverse range of books but also creating environments that encourage and celebrate reading. Schools, libraries, and community centers play a pivotal role in this regard, and they must receive adequate support and resources to foster a love for reading.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Ahsan Habib
