Global Warming

Global Warming ✪✪✪

[8th NTRCA, 2012]

Global warming is one of today’s most pressing issues. It stands as one of the most critical challenges of our time, with its multifaceted impacts spreading across ecosystems, economies, and societies worldwide. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and multiple scientific organizations worldwide have provided vital evidence of this matter, its causes, and its consequences. Global warming is when the Earth’s surface gets hotter little by little. This happens because particular gases in the air slowly increase temperature. These gases, like carbon dioxide and methane, stop the heat from escaping back into space, warming the planet. This warming causes many problems, like increased sea levels, creates more extreme weather like storms and floods, and makes it harder for plants and animals to survive. People are mostly blamed for global warming because of things like burning fossil fuels, cutting down forests, and farming in ways that release the gases. Scientists agree that global warming is happening primarily because of human beings, but some people still do not believe it. We need to act fast to control global warming. We can do things like using less energy, driving less, planting trees, and using cleaner energy sources like wind and solar power. Governments must also take necessary steps to stop and reduce greenhouse gases that cause global warming. We should work together to fight global warming. If we all do our part, we can make a difference and protect the Earth for the future.
