Gnomes are often portrayed as mythical creatures, small in stature, and associated with earth and underworld realms. Gnomes have appeared in English literature in various forms, often depicted as small, wise, and sometimes mischievous creatures. They’ve been part of folklore and fantasy tales for centuries. They capture the imagination of readers and writers alike.

Famous examples of Gnomes are “The Hobbit” by J.R.R. Tolkien, “Harry Potter” series by J.K. Rowling and “The Chronicles of Narnia” series by C.S. Lewis.

  5. Magical Creatures: Gnomes frequently possess magical abilities. They use their powers to aid characters. They have the ability to control elements, cast spells, or manipulate the natural world.
