Read the passage below and answer the question no. 6-7

Metro Railways is an important mode of transportation in many countries worldwide. In Bangladesh, the metro-railway system is still in its infancy, but it can transform how people travel within the country. The first metro-railway project in Bangladesh was initiated in 2012, and since then, several projects have been undertaken to build metro-railway systems in different parts of the country. The first metro-railway project in Bangladesh is the MRT Line-6, also known as the Uttara-Motijheel Metro Rail Project. The project is being implemented by the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) and is funded by the Bangladesh government and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The MRT Line-6 will run from Uttara, north of Dhaka, to Motijheel, in the city’s heart. The project will be completed in 2023. It will cover a distance of 20.1 kilometres. Now, the MRT Line-6 can transport around 60,000 passengers per hour.

The deal (চুক্তি) for construction of the 20.1 kilometers, line 6, costing 2.8 billion USD, was signed by the government of Bangladesh with Japan International Cooperation Agency on 20 February 2013. The first route, originally projected to start from Uttara, a northern suburb of Dhaka, to Saidabad in the south of the capital, was eventually extended north to Uttara and truncated south to Motijheel. Apart from the MRT Line-6, several other metro-railway projects are planned or implemented in Bangladesh. These include the MRT Line-1, the MRT Line-5, and the MRT Line-4. The MRT Line-1 will connect Dhaka with Narayanganj, and the MRT Line-5 will connect Dhaka with Tongi. The MRT Line-4 will run from Mirpur to Hemayetpur. These projects are being implemented by the Bangladesh government and are expected to be completed within the next few years.

The metro-railway system in Bangladesh will provide several benefits to the people. One of the most significant benefits is that it will help reduce city traffic congestion. Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, is one of the most densely populated cities in the world, and traffic congestion is a severe problem in the city. The metro-railway system will help to reduce the number of vehicles on the road, thereby reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality. Another significant benefit of the metro-railway system is that it will help save people time. Many people in Bangladesh spend several hours every day travelling to and from work. The metro-railway system will provide a faster mode of transportation, allowing people to reach their destinations quickly and efficiently. The metro-railway system will also help to boost the economy of Bangladesh. The improved transportation infrastructure will make it easier for people to travel within the country, making it easier for businesses to transport goods and services across different parts of the country. This will help to create new job opportunities and boost the economy.
