life to plants Now she wants to live only on them This means she wants to leave behind hunger sadness and human suffering Her transformation is almost complete She has accepted her new life as part of nature She will no longer speak think or feel as a human but she will live in silence and peace nbsp Han Kang shows that real freedom sometimes means losing the human form and returning to nature s simple rhythm The wife finds happiness not in human love but in becoming one with the earth and air
