A Coat Bangla Summary (বাংলায়)

 কবি তার এই কবিতায় তার জীবনের সকল সাহিত্যকর্মকে একটি কোটের মতো করে দেখছেন। কবির মতে, তার সাহিত্যকর্মগুলো কোটের মতোই একটা কাপড়, যা বড় বড় ক্ষেত্রগুলোতে ডিল করে। কোট পরিহিত মানুষরা বড় বড় ক্ষেত্রগুলোতে এমনটাই করে থাকে। এই কবিতাটিতে মিথোলোজিক্যাল রেফারেন্স টানা হয়েছে। অর্থাৎ কিছু পুরাতন গল্প দিয়ে সাজানো হয়েছে।

এই গল্পগুলো মিথ্যে প্রমাণিত হয়েছে, তবুও বর্তমান সময়ে এগুলো বিবেচনায় রাখার যোগ্যতা ধরে রেখেছে। অন্যান্য কবি এবং রাজনীতিবিদ ইয়েটস এর সাহিত্যকর্ম কোটের মতো করে পরিধান করেছিল, আর তাদের নিজের নামে চালিয়েছিল। তারা এমন ভান করেছিল যেন, তারা নিজেরাই এটি তৈরি করেছে। কিন্তু প্রকৃতপক্ষে তারা ইয়েটস এর কাজগুলোর অপব্যবহার করছে।

এটি দেখেই কবি বলেন, এতে তার কোন সমস্যা নেই। এতে তার কিছু আসে যায় না। অন্যদের এসব দেখতে দেখতে কবির রাগ অদৃশ্য হয়ে গেছে এবং সে তার কোট খুলে হাঁটা শুরু করেছে।

In this poem, the poet sees all the literary works of his life as a coat. According to the poet, his literary works are a cloth-like coat, which deals in large areas. People in coats do this in large fields. Mythological references are drawn in this poem. That is, some old stories are arranged.

These stories have been proven false, yet they still deserve to be considered in the present day. Other poets and politicians have taken Yeats’ literary work as a coat of arms and carried it on under their own names. They pretended that they had made it themselves. But in fact, they are misusing the works of Yeats.

Seeing this, the poet says, he has no problem with it. It doesn’t matter to him. Seeing others see this, Kabir’s anger disappears and he takes off his coat and starts walking.
